Normally Gemini answers you in a chat. With tasks mode, there's a simple switch from chat to tasks in the main window. Gemini 4 Argon is Google's newest AI model, released Oct 13, 2026. Google says it's better at complex, multi-step work, answers more directly, and shares its progress more often on longer tasks.
