"Grok Bot Marketplace Explained: Ready-Made Bots and How to Pick One (October 2026)"
TL;DR: The Grok Bot Marketplace is a catalog of ready-made Bots inside Grok Bot. Instead of setting up a Bot from scratch, you pick one that already knows a job (like finding sales leads or scheduling interviews) and add it. Bots are sorted into 8 categories. Grok Bot is our #1 personal AI agent, and the Marketplace makes it easier to get started. Whether Marketplace Bots cost anything extra: check the official site. Last checked Oct 15, 2026.

What the Marketplace is
Grok Bot gives you AI helpers called Bots. Each Bot has its own computer in the cloud, works on a job for you, and comes back when it needs your approval. Normally you create a Bot and explain the job yourself. The Marketplace (x.ai/bot/marketplace) is a shelf of Bots that other people already set up for a specific job. You choose one and press Add.
The 8 categories
| Category | Example Bot | The job it does |
|---|---|---|
| Sales | Outbound Prospecting | Finds possible customers and drafts a first message to each |
| Marketing | SEO & AEO Desk | Turns your keywords into content ideas and writer-ready briefs |
| Design | Critiquito: Design Critique | Turns a screenshot or Figma link into a list of design fixes |
| Personal | Flora: Plant Care Log | Keeps a houseplant care log with weekly reminders |
| Recruiting & People | Recruiting Coordinator | Schedules interviews and preps interviewers |
| Product | Proto Bot | Turns ideas into shareable prototypes as drafts |
| Operations | Office Ops Desk | Tracks office shipments, facilities issues, and team birthdays |
| Engineering | Researchy | A research and fact-check desk with live web search |
The page also has a Featured row and a From Grok Bot Team row.
Bots worth trying first ("From Grok Bot Team")
- Outbound Prospecting: finds people who match your ideal customer, researches each one on the public web, and drafts a first message. Nothing sends without your yes.
- SEO & AEO Desk: turns a pasted keyword list (or your Search Console) into content ideas and briefs for search and AI answers.
- Haggle Bot: looks at your software spending (from Ramp and your bills), finds savings like unused seats or duplicates, and drafts counter-offers to vendors for you to review. It never spends, signs, or sends without you.
- Recruiting Coordinator: schedules interview rounds, preps your interviewers, and chases what's stuck. It never emails a candidate without you.
These descriptions come from the Marketplace page. We haven't run hands-on tests, so we don't rate results.
How to pick a Bot for your job
Start from the one job that eats your week, then look in the matching category:
- Real estate follow-up: look in Sales (Outbound Prospecting or GTM Loop Closer). See AI agent for realtor follow-up emails.
- Restaurant reviews and marketing: look in Marketing (Copy Humanizer can help replies sound natural). See restaurant review replies and the restaurant hub.
- Trades and shops: Operations (Office Ops Desk) helps with lists and digests. See the mechanic and property manager hubs.
- Freelancers: Marketing (SEO & AEO Desk) or Sales (Sales Call Coach, which scores your sales calls from a transcript or recording).
If nothing fits, you can still create your own Bot. Our Grok Bot setup guide walks you through it.
What it costs
Grok Bot comes with eligible plans: X Subscription (Premium or higher), SuperGrok, Cursor, or Grok Business. It doesn't come with X Plus/Free or SuperGrok Lite. There's also a free trial (a small amount of free use for 7 days). Whether Marketplace Bots cost anything extra: check the official site. Plan prices: check the official site.
For developers: submit a plugin
If you build tools, xAI accepts plugin and MCP server submissions (an MCP server is a standard way to connect an app to an AI helper). Approved submissions reach Grok Bot and Cursor users, with Grok "coming soon," and xAI reviews each one for the Marketplace. Submit at x.ai/bot/marketplace/submit-a-plugin.
Safety: check before you add a Bot
- Read what it touches. Some Bots connect to money tools (Haggle Bot uses Ramp; Credit Card Max uses Plaid). Only connect what that job needs.
- Look for "never sends without you." Many team Bots say this. Keep approvals on.
- Start read-only. Let it report back before it emails or posts anything.
- Type passwords yourself when it asks you to take over a login.
